THIS WEEK'S LOOKS...

LOOK #1

STYLIST NOTES:

It all started with the MANGO top. The rest, the classic blazer, printed DVF pencil skirt, drool-worthy IRO heel, unbelievably priced Asos satchel, and jewelry just came into focus after falling in love with that pleated front, cap sleeve top.

If you're trying to tone down broad shoulders, opt out of the necklace. Trying to streamline your hips? Go for a basic black and drop the print. Want to add a little height? Go with a neutral pump instead.

Inspiration comes in many forms. With this one, it was colored in a super-saturated blue.

LOOK #2

STYLIST NOTES:

Lots of layers are going to help you transition from winter to springtime temps. It's also never too early for your white skinnies to make their cameo.

The top floats out under the J.Crew varsity jacket to keep things easy, yet pulled together. A gladiator-esque sandal ushers in the spring trend effortlessly, and that Givenchy bag (you can close your mouth now; gorgeous, I know) pulls everything into focus using an unexpected, warm, chocolate brown hue.

Hoop earrings and a gold watch show 'em that yep, you know how to accessorize a look without going overboard. Such a class-act.

LOOK #3

STYLIST NOTES:

This is a good-mood look. If you're not in one, throw on the dress and you will be. If anyone walking past you is giving off a Debbie-downer vibe, I guarantee you'll see a smile start to form on their face when they see you coming.

That's just the power of a dress. The woven sandal, printed clutch, pop-color jewelry, and oversized sunnies are only going to amplify things from there.

The a-line hem is going to flatter universally, while the crew-neck and cap sleeve streamline the top half of your body. A nude sandal is going to extend the vertical leg line and those sunglasses are guaranteed to bring some drama.

LOOK #4

STYLIST NOTES:

Blue-back-to-blue is ok, as long as you can pull it off without heading into 'denim onesie' territory.

The J.Crew button-front shirt back to the MiH jeans are far from the danger zone, so you're in the clear.

A suede red pump throws some much needed color into the mix. Opt for a flat if you have your bootcut jeans hemmed where they need to be, and you're feeling like giving your feet a break.

The bracelet is big enough to make an edgy statement, and the neutral Mulberry bag keeps things casually chic.
