I found EVOLVh on Instagram and had to see what this “luxury natural haircare” line was all about.

I bought their UltraShine Moisture Shampoo and they were kind enough to gift me a bottle of their UltraShine Moisture Conditioner to try with it. They’re SF-based so that was just a bonus. By the way, I mention this in the review, but having both the shampoo and conditioner to try out together made a huge difference, so keep that in mind if you're considering trying this out...

That said, this review, like every other one I serve up, is 100% honest, gifted conditioner or no gift. So what did I think? And, um, what is luxury natural haircare? Right, let's get to it:

What you’ll want to know:

  • The conditioner is $28 and the shampoo is $26. You can buy both here: SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER
  • The reason for the price and why this is called a luxury natural haircare line, is because they are free of everything that could harm your hair AND they claim to use proprietary ingredients that no one else on the market does.
  • It sounds like a lot of the cost goes into the quality of the ingredients used and technology to back it up.
  • It really smells amazing. Like, sooooo good.
  • The two things I noticed most were more shine and better manageability.

You'll love this shampoo and conditioner if:

  • You have fine, color-treated, aging hair and are looking for a 90% organic haircare option that is also gluten free, you’re going to love this.
  • You're ok with spending a few extra bucks on higher quality haircare.
  • You have fine hair and need moisture but don't want it to be weighed down.
  • You need an extra boost of shine without the added use of products after you get out of the shower.

You may not need this shampoo and conditioner if:

  • Going organic is not a priority.
  • If you have healthy, untreated “virgin” hair, this is not for you. There’s no need to spend.
  • The idea of spending over $20 on one bottle of shampoo makes you cringe.

Thanks for watching!

My Review of rms beauty’s Un Cover-Up Concealer/Foundation in 3 Minutes

I needed to find a green beauty replacement for the under eye concealer I’ve been using for, like, ever (Benefit’s Boi-ing) and rms beauty has been on my radar ever since I tested out their lip gloss pots a few months ago.

I decided to give their Un Cover-Up concealer/foundation a shot.

My Review of rms beauty’s Un Cover-Up Concealer/Foundation in 3 Minutes

What you’ll want to know:
• It’s $36.00 and you can get it on Sephora.com here.
• rms beauty, while super on-trend right now, is also a makeup line you can get behind with clean ingredients. There are no parabens, sulfates, or phthalates. Oh yea!
• It’s gluten and cruelty free, not to mention hypoallergenic. Ah-mazing.
• I used shade #22 and it worked really well.
• If you need heavier-duty under eye help, or have oily skin, you may want to pass

You'll love this concealer if:

  • You want to clean up your makeup act, and go green with your beauty routine.
  • You have under eye circles and need something lightweight that offers great coverage.
  • You need one serum that has two heavy anti-aging hitters in it so you can avoid having a cabinet filled with different potions that may or may not actually work.
  • Your skin is sensitive to most makeup (as I mentioned above, this is hypoallergenic).
  • You don't want to spend over $100 for an effective anti-aging option.

You may not need this concealer if:

  • You're not interested in anything over $10.
  • You need serious, heavy-duty under eye makeup. You can build a bit with this, but it definitely isn't one of those thick concealers.
  • You have oily skin. This product is lightweight and I mention a 'fix' for this below, but if you have oily skin, you may want to try something else.

Britt's tips & more:

  • It slides on like a balm. I mention this in the video, but for a flawless application, I use the beauty blender sponge and dab a teeny tiny bit of Bare Minerals Mineral Veil on top because I have combination skin.
  • I tend to not go too light for under eye concealers. It actually makes everything look worse when I do so I was super happy with the light-medium (#22) color I selected. It brightens but doesn't go too far.

My 3 Minute Review of Juice Beauty's Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Booster Serum

I received a sample of the Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Booster Serum in a subscription box a week ago and gave it a try.

There are a lot (read: ridiculous amounts) of serums on the market. Which do you choose? Do they really work? This one did for me. Watch what happened:

My 3 Minute Review of Juice Beauty's Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Booster Serum

What you’ll want to know:

  • This serum is $78.00 and you can get it on Dermstore.com here.
  • If you have a ton of serums already, this one has two major skincare ingredients in one and they are vitamin C and hyaluronic acid. Both of these are BIG in the anti-aging game.

You'll love this serum if:

  • You are looking to get a jump on fine lines and wrinkles without using anything that is too harsh or chemical-laden.
  • You are trying to go more "green" and organic with your skincare. This serum is vegan!
  • You need one serum that has two heavy anti-aging hitters in it so you can avoid having a cabinet filled with different potions that may or may not actually work.
  • You don't want to spend over $100 for an effective anti-aging option.

You may not need this serum if:

  • You already have an anti-wrinkle option that is working. Kind of a "duh" but seriously, sometimes more is just more and completely unnecessary so stick with what is working and when you finish it, give this a try if you really want.
  • You're in your early twenties and drinking the marketing Kool Aid on trying to stay young. Use SPF, don't smoke, eat green things, and drink lots of water. Meditation isn't a bad idea either. Moisturize with whatever you've got. You've got about a decade before you need to really dive into anti-wrinkle serums (unless you have prematurely aging skin, in which case, give it a shot).
  • You are in the market to spend less than $50.

Thanks for watching!
