I Baked Bread. I Can Pretty Much Do Anything Now

I found an amazing recipe on AlexandraCooks.com for peasant bread a few months ago and thought, why not? There's something that happens when you know you can make something as simple as a loaf of bread. Sure, it's basic, but knowing how to pull this off makes you feel like a boss, or at least, it made me feel like it. I can officially say I know how to make my own bread, AND, it's freaking delicious!

I've baked this for friends and family. Every time I bring a steaming hot, fresh-out-of-the-oven loaf to the table, I get a little thrill watching everyone else flip out. It's so simple and yet, so good. Check out my mini test kitchen moment. Hopefully you'll be inspired to give it a shot yourself:
